Asics Black, Blue and Red Gable Comp Wrestling Shoes

Signature shoe for Dan Gable – Olympic champ and legendary coach for the University of Iowa
Basically brand new, only worn a handful of times at best
I have original box from I believe the early 90s
The glue holding the sole together had deteriorated with age as shown in the pictures.  I had the sole restitched to the fabric of the shoe and the red pads glued back in place by Lecrow Designs.  He is an expert at wrestling shoe repairs.
The soles don’t seem to be dry rotted, just the glue holding them together started to give.
The leather is also flaky when enough pressure is applied due to age, so it would likely chip when worn, similar to elite internationals.
